Prefab Apple Cabin: A Practical Guide for Hotels and Scenic Areas

Oct 10, 2026 Viewd 10

A hotel or scenic-area operator needs rooms that open quickly, photograph well, and don't need constant repair. The C08 Prefab Apple Cabin is built for that job. It is a factory-finished unit of 19 m² with a bedroom, a private balcony and a separate wet-and-dry bathroom.

Why a Prefab Cabin Suits Hospitality Projects

Traditional construction in a scenic area means long site work, heavy machinery and disruption to the landscape. A prefabricated cabin moves most of that work into the factory. According to the manufacturer's C08 product page, the cabin needs no on-site assembly and can be used once water and electricity are connected. The main advantages for operators are:

  • Faster opening: production takes about 45 days, so rooms can be revenue-ready much sooner than a built structure.
  • Distinctive look: the apple-shaped body and large floor-to-ceiling window give guests a room worth photographing and sharing.
  • Low upkeep: the shell is aluminum with a fluorocarbon finish, a combination the manufacturer describes as rust-free and easy to clean.
  • Customization: interior style, appearance and facilities can be adapted to your brand and site.

What These Specifications Mean for Your Site

Specification sheets are easy to read and hard to apply. These points are what we would check first when planning a resort or scenic-area layout.

  • Foundation and crane access. The cabin is lifted as a whole unit and fixed on foot supports, so it does not need a full concrete slab. It does need a level, load-bearing support layout and a crane route to the pad. At 3 tons, the unit is light for a crane, but the access road for the truck and crane is often the real constraint on mountain or lakeside sites.
  • Electrical planning. Each cabin is rated at 6 kW. For a 10-cabin cluster, a simple sum gives 60 kW of connected load. Your electrician should size the actual supply from expected simultaneous use, not from this sum. If you add the optional kitchen, review the load again.
  • Guest comfort and privacy. The 6+12+6 double low-E glazing is aimed at UV and thermal control, and the page also cites privacy as a benefit. For rooms facing a viewing path or a neighboring cabin, ask for the curtain set and orientation advice at the design stage.
  • Capacity. The cabin is rated for 2–4 people. For a couples' retreat, treat it as a 2-guest room. For family bookings, 3–4 is the upper limit, and the 19 m² footprint will feel full.
  • Climate claims. The seismic and typhoon grades are the manufacturer's statements. Building codes differ by country and region, so give the factory your local wind speed, snow load and seismic requirements and ask for matching documentation before you commit. The factory lists these exact factors as inputs for customization.

Delivery and Logistics: Choose Between Two Options

The factory describes two ways to ship:

  • Finished-building transport. The cabin arrives ready to use, so there is no complicated assembly. The trade-off is higher freight cost, because it ships in a frame container or a 40HQ container.
  • Modular (disassembled) transport. This lowers freight and suits bulk orders, but skilled people must reassemble the units on site, and poor assembly can affect build quality.

For a resort ordering many cabins, we recommend asking for a quote on both options. If you choose the modular route, ask about an engineer or a local installer. The factory says it can arrange engineer guidance or a local agent for project orders, and it lists agents in Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Australia. This service is charged separately.

Timeline: production takes about 45 days and delivery takes 20–35 days, so plan for roughly 65–80 days from order to arrival. Chinese holidays, the destination country and the route can change this. Add your own time for site preparation, customs and commissioning. Payment: 50% T/T deposit before production and 50% balance before shipment.

About the Manufacturer

Shanghai Cymdin Industrial Co., Ltd. has produced prefabricated boxes since 2008 in a plant of about 5,800 square meters in Jinshan District, Shanghai. The company states that it is a factory rather than a trading company and that it has more than 15 years of experience. It also lists exports to Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. You can review the certificates and factory pages before you decide. A 1-year warranty applies after delivery, and design services cover additions such as stairs, terraces, roofs, awnings and guardrails to suit your local climate.
